Positive Post Cards

The teachers in our school send out positive postcards to 2 of our students each week. We use these as another form of communication, and it's a way that all parents can receive "positive" news during the year. Mikayla received a postcard from Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Hayes last week, and Drew was excited to find a postcard in the mailbox from Mrs. Mitchell this week! They are not perfect by any means, but we are proud of both of them nonetheless! Way to Go Drew and Mikayla!!

I used to love writing little notes to students. I still remember getting some from my own teachers. Handwritten notes are something they will never forget!

Congratulations to Drew and Mikayla! What a really neat ideal. I've finally (sorry it took me so long) got my post up regarding the Smile award. Again, thanks so much for awarding that to me.

I always loved school- but it is amazing what a little positive feedback can do for a child and to make them feel special. (Congrats to Mikayla and Drew)

Your post is a good reminder to all teachers on how they can make a difference in a childs life.

yay Mikayla and Drew! Congrats to them and to mama!

I think that's a great idea, I wish our classrooms did that, but nope.

Oh, and latest news is that I am homeschooling one of them. So I am back to teaching, just in a different way now. :D
