The calendar doesn't say summer quite yet, but since our last day of school was Friday, May30th, our summer has officially begun! The temperatures we've been having (close to 100 degrees) here make it feel like August already! Our first week of summer was super busy and we don't appear to be slowing down any this week either. I can't wait to give full updates, but thought I would go ahead and list some of the fun we've been having while I wait on a load of laundry (nothing like multi-tasking)! Here are some numbers for ya...
10 - number of days we've been out of school
9 - number of days we've been swimming
2 - number of children swimming without floaties this year
1 - number of movies we've seen so far at the theater
1 - number of days Drew has been to golf camp (with tomorrow being his second Tuesday)
1 - number of days Mikayla has been to dance camp (with tomorrow being day number 2 as it runs all this week)
1 - baseball banquet
1 - recital dress rehearsal
1 - dance recital
Whew, what a full 10 days it has been, but boy it has been fun! Look for full updates on each of these events (with pictures) to come tomorrow! Hopefully I will get caught up and then will be able to update each evening on that day's events! Happy, happy summer!!!
