Thursday Thirteen (TT#1)

Okay, so I've been reading these for quite some time but never completed one myself. They seem pretty neat, and you can definitely learn a lot about fellow bloggers - so here goes! My first Thursday Thirteen...

Since we are on the verge of a new school year, and since both of my children will be in "big school" this year, I will list 13 (of the many) school supplies needed.

1. 1 clipboard - The only supply we have to purchase for our 4 year old. Next year we won't get off so easy!

2. Book Bag - Drew has been waiting a long time to carry one of these

3. 2 large boxes of kleenex

4. scissors (fiskars only)

5. 4 folders with pockets - Drew only needs 2, but you know Mikayla was not going to leave that store without some of her own.

6. 1 box Ziploc Baggies

7. 3 pkgs. (36) plain yellow pencils

8. 1 large pkg notebook paper (wide - ruled)

9. 4 wide-ruled spiral composition books (70 pages)

10. 3 boxes (24 count) crayons

11. 4 glue sticks

12. 2 large pink erasers

13. 1 pkg black dry erase markers

So there it is - what do you think?
The purpose of the meme is to get to know everyone who participates a little bit better every Thursday. Visiting fellow Thirteeners is encouraged! If you participate, leave the link to your Thirteen in others comments. It’s easy, and fun! Be sure to update your Thirteen with links that are left for you, as well! I will link to everyone who participates and leaves a link to their 13 things.

Welcome to the world of the TT! Since you're a teacher, I know you can answer this question: Why the Ziploc baggies?

It seems like a lot of supplies, right? But they go through them so fast!! Thanks for stopping by my site!

Almost time to go shopping for supplies here, too. And uniforms. Mattie-Boo may be 15 1/2, but he is still growing. I'm glad his h.s. has uniforms, though. Easier, cheaper, no clothing worries. Love it.
