More Pictures with Santa

Craig's mom had hoped to get a picture of all of her grandchildren together over Thanksgiving to use on her Christmas card. She was even going to have her brother bring his Santa suit so Santa could be in the picture. When she heard Chris and Jason weren't going to make it down there for Thanksgiving, she didn't think she would get her picture. Jason and his family decided that they would come Saturday morning though, so she got her Uncle Ovid to bring his Santa suit and she would get a picture of Trey (Nikki's son), Drew and Mikayla, and Belle (Jason's daughter) with Santa. Chris told his mom there was a lady who could superimpose (?) Haston (his son) into the picture even though he wouldn't be there. So Saturday before we left we got all the kids together and rode down to the beach. Imagine the looks we got when a trail of four golf carts headed down the streets of Ocean Lakes with Santa on the back of one.
We took several shots of the grandchildren with Santa on the beach, but it was very windy and neither Nana nor myself was able to get a "great picture".

With those pictures to choose from - Nana emailed hers and they were about the same, she's not sure what she will do for her Christmas card. She's not sure if she will use one of these or use each family's individual Christmas pictures. Whatever she chooses for her card, it was nice to get a picture of all of them on the beach at the same time. I must also tell you that Belle, Drew, and Mikayla were not fooled by this Santa. The whole time Drew was around him, I noticed that he kept looking at Santa, and then he would look back at me. On the way home he spoke up and said "Mama, I guessed that Santa was Uncle YoYo". Kids sure say the funniest things. I said you are right, Uncle YoYo has a Santa suit like you have Halloween costumes. It wasn't hard to explain that all Santa's were not Uncle YoYo though because they both realized that the Santa they had breakfast with was different. They both still believe, and I want to keep it that way for several more years!
Chris had come down to the beach Saturday morning to work on a house that he and his father-in-law have recently purchased so Jean wanted a picture of all of her boys and Nikki with Santa I got this one that I thought turned out very nicely.

Great pictures! I SO miss the beach (no beaches here in north central tx) but not so much the wind. Have a great week!
