The second Saturday in December was our communities' Christmas Parade. Even though we also had three birthday parties to attend the same day, we planned to take the kids to watch the parade and pick up candy (the participants always throw candy from the "floats").The day before the parade, my friend Cathy, who owns The Ultimate Hobby Shop with her husband Mark, asked if Drew and Mikayla would like to ride on their "float". Drew and Mikayla were thrilled about this, of course. After we got Drew and Mikayla to Mark and Cathy, we headed to our usual spot where we met Poppi and Jennie to wait.
"Mrs. Claus" is actually my friend Cathy!
