Last June 19th, we took a mini vacation to Gatlinburg! After Craig surprised us with a weekend trip to the beach last May, he was ready to go someplace a little cooler once summer arrived. This was fine by me - I'm always ready to go!! Craig's boss, "Uncle Ronnie" had been telling Craig about this great hotel that they always stay in, so Craig made reservations for our family to stay there as well! It was a nice place - right on the river!!

Mikayla is so funny - I often think she is 6 going on 16!

One of the reasons we ventured there was for food and another reason was for some shows. We saw two shows while in the mountains - the first was Magic Beyond Belief with magician Terry Evanswood.

Most of my pictures that I took during the show are hard to see because of the lighting and smoke, but I like this picture of Terry with one of his large cats. At the end of the show, there was a large white tiger in this cage. Those cats were beautiful!!

After the show, Terry came to the front of the stage to sign autographs and he was also kind enough to pose for a picture with Drew and Mikayla!! Craig is infatuated with magic and thought this show coupled with the store where you could buy your own magic tricks were the best!! Our whole family absolutely loved this show and we highly recommend it for anyone who might be visiting the Great Smoky Mountains!!
